Q. I am doing my first century and have a question on nutrition. I usually have prepare 60 miles ride with banana/porridge smoothie, RideEnergy bar, 2 gels and 2 litres of water. I’m wondering how much I should carry given I am pushing a further 40 miles on top.
A. I recommend 1 litre of water per hour, I would also suggest Hi5 hydration tabs. I have recently used these and they are excellent.
