Q. I’m trying to get back into cycling with the goal of losing weight and getting fitter in general. I have purchased a Garmin 500 and wondered if I’d be better to train using cadence or heart rate zones?
A. There isn’t a time limit to be honest as bottom brackets are moving parts and will be different everytime. I’ve had my current Dura-Ace unit in since December (5 months now) and all is fine although my previous unit only lasted three months.
