Q. I have conflicting views of using a 10 spd tiagra hollowtech chainset on a 9 spd drivetrain, I think it should be fine, what do you recon?
A. You can’t mix the physical transmission components as the chain is a different pitch. Basically, the chainlinks are a different size and wont work properly.
